Olivia's Baptism

Happy St. Valentine's Day to everyone!!

This past weekend we had a splendid time celebrating Olivia's baptism with family and friends at our new church, The Catholic Church of St. Ann, in Marietta. We are so grateful that some of our nearest and dearest family members traveled to witness Olivia's Christening, and we know that those who couldn't make it were with us in spirit!!

Here are some photos of the celebration:

Olivia cried a bit when the baptismal holy water ran into her eyes

She has the cutest pouty cry!

Opa and Inge visit Olivia

This past week two very fun and exciting things happened in the life of Olivia Schneider!!

1) Her Opa and Inge visited her for several days on their return from a 65-day cruise, and

2) She found her cute little tootsies!!

Proof of these most remarkable events can be found below. Enjoy the photographic update!

THE OPA AND INGE VISIT

George Schneider (aka Opa) is quite skilled with his camera. Every time he visits I insist upon transferring whatever photos he's taken from his memory stick onto our computer. Here are a couple of great shots he took of our sweet daughter:

Along with some shots of Olivette with her Opa and with Inge:

Pimp Pedro (check out his Playboy sweater!) also got in on the Opa and Inge love!

And here are some great shots George took of our little family:

And last but not least, here are the latest photos of Olivia finding her feet for the first time!

That's all folks!! We hope you have a splendid week!

Good News!

The first bit of good news we have to share with you is that we celebrated Rob's birthday on December 30th in style ~ at home surrounded by loved ones and our babies!

Chocolate lover that he is, we made Rob dark chocolate brownie cupcakes; he made a wish, blew out the candle, and discovered the following day that his wish came true . . .

Bubba has made it through his rough patch with canine vestibular disease and is now nearly fully recovered!! He has a slight head tilt that causes him to fall slightly when he does the typical dog shake (Rob likes to call this Bubba's gangster lean), but he is 100% the same old Bubba that we have known for years, always protecting his Mom wherever she goes and rough-housing with his Dad and brother. He sleeps a little bit more now, but has compensated well considering what we witnessed just a few days ago. God is great indeed!!

The other piece of great news we have to share is that Oma and Papa Steve visited us for a few days this past week, and Olivia got tons of cuddle time with her Oma!! Here are some of the pictures from our wonderful visit, which is always much too short!

This last picture was part of Rob's fantastic birthday present from his Mom. She gave him a huge box of all of his childhood documemts, drawings, yearbooks, etc. So this is Rob's class photo from second grade! Rob is the kid in the blue sweater at the end of the third row, to the right of the globe. He's so cute!

Happy New Year to you all!
